Destructoid - Chris Carter - 10 / 10
To be clear, I'd still wholly recommend this version of 3D World even without Bowser's Fury. The tweaks are small overall, and Bowser's Fury isn't going to sate the most hardcore of Mario fans looking for a brand new game, but the package as a whole is magical. If you were one of the many who missed out on this Wii U classic, fix that.
Digitally Downloaded - Matt Sainsbury - 5 / 5 stars
An exceptional first release for Nintendo in 2021
GamesBeat - Mike Minotti - 5 / 5 stars
You can play a lot of 3D Mario games on your Switch. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is just as good as any of them. It contains makes the Wii U game feel better than you remember, and the bonus campaign makes the package one of the best ports Nintendo has brought to the Switch.
God is a Geek - Adam Cook - 10 / 10
Despite multiplayer now being online, it still feels superfluous, but otherwise Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury might just be one of those fabled "perfect" games.
Impulsegamer - Chris O'Connor - 5 / 5
Revisit some classic Mario gaming with some added elements to bring it some new life.
Nintendo Life - Chris Scullion - 10 / 10
Super Mario 3D World remains one of the better linear Mario games, and anyone playing it for the first time is in for an absolute treat. Add to that the curious bonus adventure that is Bowser's Fury and you've got a package that provides great value for money. It isn't without its flaws, but most of these (online multiplayer, repetitive missions in Bowser's Fury) relate to the new additions; the main game itself remains as pure and perfect as it was seven years ago. Had it just been Super Mario 3D World on its own, we'd be thoroughly recommending it anyway; Bowser's Fury is just the cherry on top.
VG247 - Alex Donaldson - 5 / 5 stars
Bowser’s Fury is a short experience – it’ll take a competent player a couple of hours to see all it has to offer, and a few hours more to drive it all the way to 100% completion – but it’s completely worthwhile. It has some great surprises, which is why I talk about it in such generalized terms. Bowser’s Fury would’ve made a great download-only, budget-price stand-alone – so as a bonus included with an already excellent game, its value can’t really be overstated.
Atomix - Alberto Desfassiaux - Spanish - 98 / 100
The best way to play on of the greatest Mario's games. Also, Bowser's Fury is an ambitious expansion with a lot of new ideas.
PowerUp! - Leo Stevenson - 9.8 / 10
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is a showcase of the game design mastery which has made Nintendo the best in the business.
Areajugones - David Cruz - Spanish - 9.5 / 10
‎This is one of the best platforms in history, and its expansion is by no means a minor content, since at some times it shines with more personality than the original title. In short, an indispensable pack has played the video game on Wii U or not, and one of the most essential works of your Nintendo Switch.‎
Cerealkillerz - Manuel Barthes - German - 9.5 / 10
Although Super Mario 3D World is only an implementation for Nintendo Switch, it has not lost any of its charm and ingenuity. The loving optimization for the benefit of the gaming experience, as well as the bonus adventure Bowser's Fury, are convincing across the board and promise fun for up to four players. Even some questionable level designs can hardly tarnish the overall picture.
Nintendo Blast - Eduardo Comerlato - Portuguese - 9.5 / 10
Super Mario Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is a package that offers two different ways to experience one of the best 3D Mario adventure, making it ideal for the franchise’s 35th anniversary celebration. There is no doubt that the game is a two-way diversion, able to preserve elements of the past and paint majestic novelties around it, as Bowser Jr. does with his paintbrush in the new and fascinating Bowser’s Fury.
SECTOR.sk - Matúš Štrba - Slovak - 9.5 / 10
Super Mario 3D World is still great, fun and really rich in content. Bowser's Fury adds new layers of gampleay inspired by Sunshine to enjoy.
The Games Machine - Stefano Calzati - Italian - 9.5 / 10
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is an explosive pack. 3D World returns with an improved pace, while retaining the stellar gameplay that characterized it when it first launched, and of course being still as hilarious as it was back then. Bowser's Fury takes the lesson a step further, creating a small and dense open world that will put you to the test with a sense of urgency unlike any other Super Mario game. The result, needless to say, is pure, unadulterated joy.
Game Informer - Brian Shea - 9.3 / 10
This package combines tried-and-true gameplay and level design with unique concepts (plus an all-new game) to earn its place among the elite games in the franchise
Hobby Consolas - David Martinez - Spanish - 93 / 100
It´s not one, but two great platformers for Nintendo Switch. One of the greatest Wii U games (with improvement such as online multiplayer and photo mode) and a new Mario 3D game, not as big and ambitious as previous games, but equally fun and full of surprises.
Spaziogames - Valentino Cinefra - Italian - 9.3 / 10
If you love platforming (and cats) this is an absolute gem.
Video Chums - A.J. Maciejewski - 9.2 / 10
Super Mario 3D World is an excellent game so if you still haven't played it or simply want it on Switch, this will make a wonderful addition to your gaming library. Oh, and you also get a fantastic bonus game with Bowser's Fury so how could you go wrong?
Wccftech - Rosh Kelly - 9.1 / 10
Super Mario 3D World shows why Mario is an ageless franchise, with the seven-year-old game providing fresh fun and a delightful experience. Bowser's Fury is the exact opposite, showing just how exciting and experimental the series can be.
Critical Hit - Brad Lang - 9 / 10
Super Mario 3D is a great game to play solo or with friends and shows off some of Nintendo's best level design yet, while Bowser's Fury is an inventive take on the Mario formula that's more generous with its content than it ought to be. Both games make for a fantastic bundle and should be checked out by fans and non-fans alike.
Forbes - Ollie Barder - 9 / 10
Overall, this is a fantastic collection of Super Mario games. From the focused and demanding Super Mario 3D World to the more experimental, though still very well executed, open world take for Bowser’s Fury. Both games have a lot to offer and will keep you very busy unlocking their innermost secrets.
GAMES.CH - Benjamin Braun - German - 90 / 100
Bowser's Fury is much more than just a bonus . Despite it is relatively short, it still feels like a fully fleshed Mario jump and run. Packed with the great main game including the long missed online co-op mode Super Mario 3D World + Bowers's Fury is a must have for every Switch user.
GameMAG - Александр Копанев - Russian - 9 / 10
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury for Nintendo Switch effectively handles two important tasks: introducing new players to the classic game that came from the Wii U, as well as pleasing hungry fans with new great content. Definitely a must-play for all Super Mario fans!
GamePro - Tobias Veltin - German - 90 / 100
Super Mario 3D World is still a real fun package with no signs of ageing, which is made even more rewarding by Bowser's Fury.
GameSpew - Kim Snaith - 9 / 10
Aside from some repetition between the two titles, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is a joy from start to finish.
GameSpot - Steve Watts - 9 / 10
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury packages one of the best recent Mario games with a delightfully odd new experience.
Gameblog - Thomas Pillon - French - 9 / 10
Thans to its many clever tweaks, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury give the player many reasons to enjoy a great 3D platformer, now a little bit faster, and with friends around the globe online. Let's not forget Bowser's Fury, a tiny open world adventure which rightfully mixes gameplays from the Wii U and Switch episodes, and delivers a strong experience with a twist.
GamesRadar+ - Sam Loveridge - 4.5 / 5 stars
Quirky, creative, and constant good fun, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury blends Mario gameplay old and new with great success, creating a title that feels worthy of his 35th birthday celebrations.
Geeks & Com - Anthony Gravel - French - 9 / 10
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury offers much more than your regular Switch port with a brand new adventure that packs between 5 and 8 hours of great new original content. I loved my time spent in this new open world of Bowser's Fury and going through 3D World a second time sure was a blast. Hopefully, this new package gives the game the second life that it truly deserves.
IGN Italy - Mattia Ravanelli - Italian - 9 / 10
Simple and immediate, beautiful to see and fun even in multiplayer, Super Mario 3D World is the "what if" of the history of Super Mario. But with obvious limitations compared to Super Mario Odyssey and the other chapters in 3D. Bowser's Fury tries to beat new paths, without avoiding a few slips.
Metro GameCentral - 9 / 10
One of the best modern Super Mario titles is made that little bit better and accompanied by a brand-new game that bends the formula in new and exciting ways.
NintendoWorldReport - Neal Ronaghan - 9 / 10
If you've never played 3D World before or haven't touched it since the Wii U days, this is well worth the price of admission. Prospects get a little tougher if you're not interested in going through 3D World, because while Bowser's Fury is amazing, it's still approximately less than 10 hours of gameplay even if you do everything. But no matter what: Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury might be one of the strongest Mario games available on Switch. The base game is fun and varied, while Bowser's Fury offers a distinctive, inventive, and superb open-world 3D Mario experience.
PCMag - Jordan Minor - 4.5 / 5 stars
Super Mario 3D World is an incredible and underplayed Wii U adventure that's now available on Switch. But Bowser’s Fury steals the show with its exciting and fresh take on a 3D Mario game.
Press Start - Shannon Grixti - 9 / 10
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is a fantastic package that showcases what makes Nintendo games so special. Super Mario 3D World is just as good as when it released, and Bower's Fury is a surprisingly good standalone adventure that paves the way for the future of Mario.
Screen Rant - Riley Little - 4.5 / 5 stars
Bowser's Fury adds so much to the Wii U port.
Stevivor - Ben Salter - 9 / 10
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is a delightful double act. Super Mario 3D World holds up well, and offers a unique multiplayer experience that works particularly well on Switch. Its opening worlds are designed to cater for that varied audience, while the second half injects some much needed difficulty and is best played solo. Bowser’s Fury is experimental in nature, and offers something completely different with a fully open world housing plenty of Shines to collect at a rapid pace. While neither quite reaches the dizzying heights of Super Mario Galaxy or Odyssey, it is a double dose of Mario doing things differently, and a fitting finale to Super Mario’s 35th anniversary.
The Digital Fix - Stephen Hudson - 9 / 10
Near-perfect platforming, gorgeous visuals and a joy-filled soundtrack make Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury one of the best Mario titles of all time, and an essential purchase for all Switch owners.
TheGamer - Dave Aubrey - 4.5 / 5 stars
Ultimately, Super Mario 3D World, in this package, is the best that game has ever been, with the increased speed and ease of multiplayer access making it far more enticing than ever before. Bowser’s Fury, meanwhile, is essentially the Super Mario Odyssey DLC that never was. It feels like Odyssey’s level and game design sensibilities, but placed in the Super Mario 3D World game engine, with all of the power-ups and quirks that game has to make something truly unique. Putting both of these games in one package is the best decision that Nintendo has made in a long while, as Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is one of the best Mario offerings available on Nintendo Switch, which is lofty praise given the existence of Super Mario Maker 2. Now it just needs the option to play again, but as Luigi.
TheSixthAxis - Jason Coles - 9 / 10
I can't really recommend Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury enough. Whether you've played the original game before or not, the addition of online multiplayer is a big win, while Bowser's Fury is a testament to just how pure a Mario game can be while still feeling fresh and exciting. Put simply; this is an essential game for Mario fans.
TrustedReviews - Jade King - 4.5 / 5 stars
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is both a welcome return for a platforming classic and a novel expansion of what made the game so special back on the Wii U. There's a solid chance that millions of players missed out on its excellence back in 2013, so now is the perfect time to take it for a spin.
Twinfinite - Chris Jecks - 4.5 / 5
The real star of the show, however, was Bowser’s Fury, which innovates on the foundations laid by previous 3D titles, to provide some of the most enjoyable, open-world platforming I’ve had the pleasure of playing. This is a must-buy for Switch owners and Mario fans alike and is sure to tide you over the next couple of months.
Everyeye.it - Marco Mottura - Italian - 8.8 / 10
As the title itself indicates, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury proves to be more than just the re-proposal in Nintendo Switch sauce of an exclusive Wii U not particularly lucky: the idea of inserting for once a completely new extra is very appreciable, and you find the ideas inside Bowser's Fury are not lacking at all. While the difference in tone and gameplay between the two games is quite right, the overall superiority of Super Mario 3D World over the new adventure is also evident, which ends up being an appendix or little more. The effect is that of a very solid pairing, which once again celebrates the undisputed supremacy of the Great N in the platforming field.
IGN Spain - David Soriano - Spanish - 8.8 / 10
Super Mario 3D World has aged quite well. It is still a very enjoyable adventure, updated in its rhythm and different enough from Super Mario Odyssey for those who came to Switch without going through Wii U to discover it. The big surprise is Bowser's Fury, which transcends the concept of simple DLC and adds mechanics and novelties of epic dimensions.
AusGamers - Kosta Andreadis - 8.6 / 10
It's also as strange as Mario's team-up with a sentient hat that for some reason lets him Being John Malkovich a dinosaur.
COGconnected - James Paley - 80 / 100
These two titles offer distinct, yet familiar, Mario experiences.
Checkpoint Gaming - Tom Quirk - 8 / 10
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is an excellent case for why Nintendo should be porting more Wii U games to the Switch. With its improved presentation and the convenience of the Switch, this is definitely the optimal way to play Super Mario 3D World, even without much in the way of new features. Bowser’s Fury is also an excellent open-world Mario mini-adventure, which is probably worth the price of admission on its own. Admittedly, the multiplayer features some camera issues, particularly in Bowser’s Fury. However, that should not stop Mario fans of all ages from checking out Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, especially if they missed out on this much loved platformer the first time around.
Cubed3 - Az Elias - 8 / 10
Super Mario 3D World may not have had much added to it aside from an online function that is limited to only saving progress for the host, but it didn't necessarily need much else. Nintendo successfully found a way to evolve the 2D classics without going open world, and the result is one of the most consistently fresh and enjoyable games around, which, despite lacking the challenge of the NES games, has something for just about everyone. The bonus Bowser's Fury solo adventure is an absolute delight with a brilliant core idea that adds a crazy tension to Mario platforming, but it is hard to present a case for purchasing this pack just to play it. Whilst full of great content, it is too short-lived to feel worth the asking price, and really needs a standalone purchase option. When taking both games into account for those that have not played the original Wii U title, though, this is a cracking bundle of Mario goodness that encapsulates what everyone knows and still loves about the moustachioed hero after an enduring thirty-five years.
Daily Mirror - James Ide - 4 / 5 stars
Bowser's Fury offers some great new ideas and is much more than a simple DLC. It's a great Mario game in its own right, with enough to entice those who played 3D World before with a wholly new and compelling experience, as well as offering one of the most epic showdowns in Nintendo history.
Bowser's Fury is a great take on 3D Mario and finally makes Bowser the menacing villain he deserves to be. The game's only flaw is that it left me wishing there was more of it.
EGM - Michael Goroff - 8 / 10
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is the Wii U port that Switch owners have been waiting for. Besides the inclusion of online multiplayer, 3D World is the same good game that players already experienced on the Wii U, and fans of the series who missed it the first time around will enjoy its hybridization of 2D and 3D Mario gameplay. But the highlight of the package is Bowser's Fury, a scaled-down but surprisingly robust mini 3D Mario game that actually takes some chances.
Enternity.gr - Leonidas Mastellos - Greek - 8 / 10
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury achieves its goal as a package and not as individual experiences
Guardian - Keza MacDonald - 4 / 5 stars
One of the brightest and cutest Mario games with a novel adventure as a side dish
Telegraph - Tom Hoggins - 4 / 5 stars
This Switch remaster of the Wii U outing for Nintendo's famous plumber comes with online co-op and the strangest Mario adventure yet
LevelUp - Fernando Salinas - Spanish - 7.5 / 10
Glyph brings together the simplest form of platforms and puzzles in one package. It is an entertaining experience that shines for its simplicity. Although it falls short in scope, it fulfills the most important thing: is fun to play.
Washington Post - Jhaan Elker - 75 / 100
Even with the Bowser’s Fury miss, the content is worth it. If you want one of the best and most versatile multiplayer experiences to date for the Nintendo Switch, online or offline, go with Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury.
CGMagazine - Jordan Biordi - 7 / 10
I don’t think Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury annoys me as much as it did on the Wii U, since the Switch already has the best Mario ever made on it; and I do think there is fun to be had with these games, even though I find them to be fairly frustrating. I would still recommend them if you enjoyed the originals, or maybe wanted to play them with younger gamers. Even though I might not go back to it very often, I don’t regret the time spent with it.
IGN - Cam Shea - 7 / 10
Two solid platformers in one; neither of which approaches the franchise's most dizzying heights.
Ars Technica - Kyle Orland - Unscored
Bowser’s Fury works just fine as an added bonus packaged with an under-appreciated platforming gem from the Wii U era. If you’ve never played 3D World before, this is a great chance to catch up on a fresh take on 3D Mario design. If you’re mainly interested in Bowser’s Fury, though, maybe wait until the strong ideas get expanded into a full, standalone game.
Console Creatures - Bobby Pashalidis - Recommended
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury might include the same game that was on the Wii U but it's also a title that needs to be experienced by everyone who owns a Nintendo Switch.
Eurogamer - Martin Robinson - Recommended
3D World's feast of all things Mario is joined by a fittingly experimental, hugely enjoyable - if slightly scrappy - expansion.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is essentially the same game on Switch that some of you may have experienced on Wii U. While there’s no denying that the new hardware can’t keep up with the game’s ambitions at times, this bundle is at its core another fantastic Mario experience.

Battery saving tips & tricks guide for on-screen and idle times (Exynos & Snapdragon variants)

Below is a list of battery saving tricks I've compiled since I've owned my Exynos S20+ back in August. Both of my on-screen time & idle battery consumption has been reduced considerably. You're looking at 7+ SoT & 1% idle battery loss during a 6 hour sleep time! Snapdragon variants will probably fair a bit better here.
Disclaimer: If you feel you're not in the mood to hinder your $1000+ flagship device, then good for you! Some of us (esp. Exynos owner) would like to squeeze every last bit of juice out of our batteries, so this guide is more tailored towards those.
Disclaimer 2: Not to state the obvious, but this is an extreme-measure guide. If any of the options disabled below but you actually need/use (eg: NFC, Netflix, Voice Assistance, etc), feel free to leave enabled. The other tips should still be helpful.

But it's certainly no less impressive. That intimacy lends itself perfectly to a story about a vibrant, tight-knit community with a rich and storied history; a story about gentrification and misguided attempts to "fix" things that aren't broken; a story about a mixed-race kid looking for his place in a world that always seems to see him as "other", and finding that place in the welcoming, open arms of Harlem.
EGM - Josh Harmon - 10 / 10
Don't be fooled into thinking Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is some minor spin-off of Insomniac Games' PS4 exclusive. Sure, it's not as long, but the experience is packed with enough new gameplay ideas and design refinements that it feels every bit like a true, substantial successor. Throw in a story that does justice to Miles as a character and tech that wonderfully showcases the power of the PlayStation 5, and you just might have one of the best console launch titles of the modern era.
GameSpew - Richard Seagrave - 10 / 10
Perhaps I’ve been dismissive of Spider-Man: Miles Morales in calling it a standalone expansion, because while it may indeed be shorter than Insomniac’s first Spider-Man outing, it’s not just a simple continuation of the story designed to wring out a bit more moolah from your wallet. Think of it as a more focused sequel instead, as that’s what it actually feels like. It’s free of story bloat, and the gameplay has most definitely been expanded upon and improved. Plus, since when has an expansion looked so much nicer than the game it’s building upon? This is a timely release that demonstrates the power of the PS5 with style, and if you aren’t picking it up alongside your console, you’re simply doing things wrong.
GamingTrend - Ron Burke - 100 / 100
With flawless lighting, excellent gameplay, innovative immersion, and a fresh new story, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is the sort of game that we'll be talking about for the rest of the console generation. This is how you start a new generation of gaming.
Impulsegamer - Andrew Bistak - 5 / 5
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is indeed the must have title for the PlayStation 5 that successfully brings this character to life on this next-gen console with some stunning graphics and flawless gameplay. Just like a comic but better as you're the star!
PowerUp! - Leo Stevenson - 9.7 / 10
It might not be the brand-new, system selling experience we're used to getting at the launch of a new console, but Spider-man Miles Morales is an incredibly good game and a must-play.
Digital Chumps - Nathaniel Stevens - 9.5 / 10
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a wonderful launch title for the PlayStation 5. It has everything you want from a Spider-Man game and a unique story that could be considered Hollywood-caliber.
Geek Culture - Jake Su - 9.5 / 10
When it comes to Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, it is all about love, a labour of dedication and design that will no doubt garner fans aplenty in the days ahead.
God is a Geek - Adam Cook - 9.5 / 10
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales manages to improve on the fantastic game that came before it. Insomniac Games continue to be on fire with perhaps their best game ever.
Stevivor - Steve Wright - 9.5 / 10
Spider-Man Miles Morales is a tight little package that provides a thrilling Spider-Man experience, trimmed of nonessential fat and full of emotion and excitement.
COGconnected - Paul Sullivan - 92 / 100
Though it’s not as polished as the 2018 original, Spider-Man Miles Morales is a smashing success. It looks sensational and is an absolute riot to play. Miles’ story brings all the drama and feels it needs to, and highlights a community outside what’d normally be on the drawing board for a game like this. Despite some bugginess, this is the game you want to show off your impressive new hardware. I can guarantee I’ll be slinging from Harlem to Hell’s Kitchen daily for the foreseeable future.
Attack of the Fanboy - Josh Garibay - 4.5 / 5 stars
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a thrilling, albeit brief, ride with the most compelling Spider-Man yet.
Destructoid - Chris Carter - 9 / 10
Just like Into the Spider-Verse, I was pleasantly surprised by Miles Morales. I came in fully expecting it to be a side story, but it was much more than that. If this is setting us up for Spider-Man 2 where both Miles and Peter are playable: I'm in.
Digital Chumps - Alex Tudor - 9 / 10
Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PS4 is fun, frantic, and full of heart. While not as large in scope as 2018's Spider-Man, Miles Morales continues to build upon the world Insomniac has crafted to deliver a heartfelt story about a kid in Harlem just trying to deal with the responsibility of balancing being a hero with protecting his family. Miles Morales doesn't add a ton to the formula, nor does it need to. Swinging through New York is just as fun as it was in 2018, and some of Miles' new Venom powers allow him to feel different than Peter Parker. You're not going to get all the bells and whistles the PS5 version offers, but the story itself is a must-play.
Easy Allies - Brandon Jones - 9 / 10
Review Copy Provided by PlayStation Miles Morales and the PlayStation 5 are both ready for their big debut, eager to show people what they're made of. The campaign is shorter than the first game, but the map is still full of stories and skirmishes worthy of an amazing hero.
Game Informer - Andrew Reiner - 9 / 10
Not as long as the previous entry, but better streamlined. The Spider-Man action is superb, but the threat Miles faces isn't as interesting or potent
Game Rant - Anthony Taormina - 4.5 / 5 stars
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is an exceptional follow-up to Marvel's Spider-Man, even if a lot of the formula feels familiar. On PS5, though, it is a must-play just to see the potential of the new hardware and what it will offer from both a visual and a performance standpoint. For many console gamers, this will be their first taste of steady 4K 60FPS or Ray-Tracing that adds meaningful improvements to the presentation. Insomniac's work on the game is stunning.
Gaming Nexus - John Yan - 9 / 10/)
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales shines on the PlayStation 5 with great graphics, solid gameplay, and excellent use of the new DualSense controller for a seriously fun game to play on the brand new console.
IGN - Jonathon Dornbush - 9 / 10
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a fantastic follow-up, telling a wonderful story while improving upon the fundamentals of the first game.
Inverse - Corey Plante - 9 / 10
For anyone who loved Spider-Man on PS4 and Into the Spider-Verse, Miles Morales will exceed even your wildest expectations.
Siliconera - Jenni Lada - 9 / 10
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is the hero we’re looking for. The game takes everything people loved about Marvel’s Spider-Man, the story, the collecting, and the smooth fighting, and presents us with a story that somehow feels more balanced and dedicated to its star.
Spiel Times - Caleb Wysor - 9 / 10
“Miles Morales” is one of the year’s best escapist entertainments, replete with stand-out combat, an engaging story and a well-designed open world.
USgamer - Mike Williams - 4.5 / 5 stars
The early heroic career of Miles Morales gets some shine in this standalone soft sequel to Marvel's Spider-Man for PS4. Web swinging is still fantastic and the combat system expands with Miles' more varied powerset. And while you might have played most of this game before, Insomniac does an amazing job telling the story of its version of Miles. Rooted in his new home of Spanish Harlem, he's probably the most "friendly neighborhood" of any version of Spider-Man.
Video Chums - A.J. Maciejewski - 8.9 / 10
Without a doubt, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a much more enjoyable game than the original and it shows off PS5's performance brilliantly. It's too bad that it isn't longer because I loved every minute of it.
Cerealkillerz - Gabriel Bogdan - German - 8.6 / 10
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is not quite a Spider-Man 2 but it comes pretty close. If you can live with a lot of similar tasks, enemies and easy to see through story twists you'll get here a well made Adventure in the Spider-Man Universe that gives a great inside on the man behind the mask and his struggles.
GamePro - Hannes Rossow - German - 86 / 100
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a nice spin-off, that expands the template meaningfully and puts more heart and soul into the story.
GRYOnline.pl - Michał Mańka - Polish - 8.5 / 10
Miles Morales is an interesting enough character to carry an entire game by himself. Not because it’s shorter than the original, but because the story is good and the voice actor did a fantastic job. Despite finishing MM on a review copy of both the game and the new PlayStation, I’m sure I’ll play the new Spider-Man again in my private time.
GameBlast - Alexandre Galvão - Portuguese - 8.5 / 10
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales stands out for further highlighting one of the best PS4 games in an excellent expansion of the universe created by Insomniac in 2018. What was already good has been maintained and certain features have been improved. With impeccable presentation and an excellent adventure, its only problem is still being at the mercy of its predecessor when it comes to innovation.
GameZone - Cade Onder - 8.5 / 10
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is the end of one generation and the start of another. It serves as yet another defining title for PlayStation but also an essential story for Marvel's greatest hero. With new innovations in Spidey gameplay as well as loads of refinement and a wildly impactful story, Spider-Man: Miles Morales is the game we need right now.
PSX Brasil - Ivan Nikolai Barkow Castilho - Portuguese - 85 / 100
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is relatively short, but it is still exceptional. Miles' gameplay manages to be different enough from Peter, even though the base of both is similar. The story is interesting, but a little predictable and much less "epic". Despite these points, it is an excellent addition to the PS4 (and now PS5) library.
Press Start - Adam Mathew - 8.5 / 10
For a launch title, the worth of Spider-Man: Miles Morales is undeniable. It offers an expensive-TV-justifying visual feast – not to mention a tantalising "What Dreams May Come" glimpse at the sugar encrusted future of eye-candy. (Console hasn't even launched yet and I can feel my eyes getting the diabeetus.) Likewise, it delivers super-fast load times and an immersive, tactile DualSense experience you simply can't 'feel' anywhere else.
The Games Machine - Stefano Calzati - Italian - 8.5 / 10
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales certainly does not reinvent the original work, but manages to tell a particularly intense story by introducing and deepening an extremely positive character with an overwhelming personality. More compact than Peter Parker's adventure, with an elegantly told political subtext and a warm family dimension that comes to protect at all costs, the Insomniac work then explodes in exploiting what PS5 has to offer from a technical point of view, between impressive lighting that benefits from ray tracing and a world instantly loaded thanks to the potential of the SSD, which practically eliminates pop-up , giving a fluidity to the action, a breath at the stairs and an absolutely breathtaking overall visual impact.
Wccftech - Kai Powell - 8.5 / 10
Miles Morales is a far more charismatic hero than Peter in Parker in Marvel's Spider-Man and there's no better way to tell his story than with his own game as a PlayStation 5 launch title. While shorter and more compact than Peter Parker's adventures, this quick trip to Harlem should be on any superhero fan's wishlist.
Worth Playing - Redmond Carolipio - 8.5 / 10
My only real gripe about Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is that I wish there were more of it. Miles and the rest of his circle are absolutely capable of being compelling enough to carry a game for twice the length. I just like this kid, and I think a lot of other people will, too.
IGN Spain - David Soriano - Spanish - 8.2 / 10
Despite its length, Marvel's Spider-man: Miles Morales is a great launch game for PS5 and a perfect example of the potential of the machine in the hands of the members of PlayStation Studios.
Daily Mirror - JC Suttun - 4 / 5 stars
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a more focused and concise outing than its predecessor. It lands somewhat in the Uncharted: Lost Legacy mould of a shorter experience that does away with filler, and meaningful moments interspersed with less gumpf. While there's not a huge amount of reinvention, Miles Morales is a fantastic superhero experience that does enough to feel like a worthy follow-up.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is available now on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 (version tested) for £49.99
Enternity.gr - Panagiotis Petropoulos - Greek - 8 / 10
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a worthy successor to the 2018 game, due to Insomniac’s enriched Marvel’s Spider-Man formula with some interesting systems and delivered an equally interesting (although much shorter) campaign.
Everyeye.it - Francesco Fossetti - Italian - 8 / 10
Nothing new for those who have already worn the Spider-Man costume on PS4, but Insomniac always remains a guarantee of great quality.
Game Revolution - Mack Ashworth - 4 / 5 stars
For $50, players are getting 7-9 hours of story missions, combined with the optional 10+ hours of side content, much of which is collectible hunting. That doesn’t strike me as a great deal at launch, but the free upgrade from PS4 to PS5 does help soften the blow. When the price is right for you, this PlayStation exclusive comes with my recommendation, as it further bolsters Sony’s arsenal as we enter the next generation and beyond.
GamesRadar+ - Leon Hurley - 4 / 5 stars
A brilliant but all too brief sample of Miles Morales' superhero life.
Guardian - Keith Stuart - 4 / 5 stars
This Spiderverse-inspired take on Spider-Man has a new hero and an appealing message reflecting America's vibrant diversity
Hardcore Gamer - Kevin Dunsmore - 4 / 5
Marvel's Spider-Man perfectly revitalized the Spider-Man gaming franchise back in 2018 and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is an excellent follow-up.
Kakuchopurei - Kenn Leandre - 80 / 100
Just like Miles in the comics, Spider-Man: Miles Morales does not try to out-do an already established name. Rather, it carves a new story for themselves in a familiar-but-comforting setting.
Metro GameCentral - 8 / 10
A far better advert for the PS5 than its short length and last gen assets might have suggested, with superior storytelling and more compelling characters than the original.
Nerdburglars - Dan Hastings - 8 / 10
If you enjoyed the last game, you will definitely enjoy this one. Being in control of Spiderman is a delight in every single way. Fast travel is a forgotten mechanic as you won't want to waste an opportunity to travel via web-slinging. With such a strong foundation and a rock-solid game that came before it, Miles Morales had some high expectations. In many ways, it delivered what you would want from a Spiderman adventure. It falls short with a weaker lineup of villains and a less interesting story. Marvel's Spiderman was just too good.
PCMag - Will Greenwald - 4 / 5 stars
Spider-Man: Miles Morales kicks off the PlayStation 5's launch by putting you in the web shooters of the titular new Spider-Man in a satisfying side story that covers much of the same terrain as its predecessor.
PPE.pl - Wojciech Gruszczyk - Polish - 8 / 10
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is an interesting spin-off that shows a young superhero and is an excellent forecaster of the possibilities of the new generation. A new Spider-Man is born before our eyes.
Push Square - Sammy Barker - 8 / 10
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is effortlessly cool. The overall gameplay structure may prove samey for those who failed to fall in love with Insomniac Games' previous effort, but everyone else will have a blast with this generous spin-off story. Great characters, tons of activities, and some epic set-piece moments round out a must play superhero romp – and with the developer on this kind of form, we can't wait to see more of the full-scale sequel that it's inevitably cooking up.
SECTOR.sk - Matúš Štrba - Slovak - 8 / 10
Miles Morales presents his more personal story as a young Spider-Man trying prove himself as New York's hero. But the game recycles too much of the original's content and consept.
Screen Rant - Nicholas Straub - 4 / 5 stars
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales fumbles its well-intentioned story by failing to challenge Miles and adequately address its complex context, but it is still an enthralling experience. The campaign is filled with memorable gameplay and the open-world exploration successfully expands upon the successes of the original game. It also sets the stage for Miles to become the face of the franchise, and perhaps his story will be better told in a full-fledged game rather than a shorter jaunt through his origins.
Shacknews - Chris Jarrard - 8 / 10
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will appeal to loads of gamers and I suspect it will be a hit for PlayStation owners this holiday season. While there isn’t as much to do this time around and what is included is mostly recycled, the asking price is lower than normal. Being Spider-Man is still as fun as it was in 2018 (and potentially more fun now at 60Hz) and Miles Morales is a character that is more compelling than Peter Parker. Should the few technical hiccups get sorted out, this will be a solid inclusion for any game library. Anyone grabbing a PS5 at launch would do well to grab a copy.
Spaziogames - Stefania Sperandio - Italian - 8 / 10
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales doesn't even try to reinvent the wheel, but it's enjoyable and well packed.
TheSixthAxis - Jim Hargreaves - 8 / 10
Spider-Man: Miles Morales feels like more of a sequel than it is a stopgap, entangling players within its web of cleverly refined mechanics while delivering some familiar web-slinging thrills. A heroic technical showcase for PS5 owners picking up their consoles on day one, this meaty side story in the Spider-Man saga has us even more excited than before to see what Insomniac Games have planned next.
TrustedReviews - Jade King - 4 / 5 stars
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a brilliant expansion of Insomniac's beloved superhero adventure from 2018. It shows why Miles Morales is, arguably, the franchise's greatest strength, while also proving how much of an impact the next generation will have on visuals and performance. If you're picking up a PS5, this is essential.
VG247 - Alex Donaldson - 4 / 5 stars
Launch games are rarely remembered as earth-shattering experiences years later, but at the time, elements of them always feel magical. On PS5, Miles Morales has both of these feelings down – it’s familiar and unsurprising, but some of its technical presentation will wow you nevertheless. If you’re picking up a PS5 on launch day, for that reason this will surely do.
VideoGamer - Josh Wise - 8 / 10
The developer, Insomniac Games, has a similar storytelling confidence to that of Naughty Dog-a natural cinematic ease, bolstered by money and technology, which gives equal weight to ground-level struggles as to those beyond the rooftops.
WellPlayed - Kieron Verbrugge - 8 / 10
Miles Morales is a worthy standalone addition to Insomniac's excellent Spider-Man game and a compelling part of the PlayStation 5 launch lineup, even if it does seem a little pricey
New Game Network - Alex Varankou - 76 / 100
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales offers a fun story in a streamlined adventure that builds on the great foundation of its predecessor, despite a few performance issues on the PS4.
Gadgets 360 - Akhil Arora - 7 / 10
If the sticker price isn't a concern, in Spider-Man: Miles Morales, you'll find a game that is lacking in originality but thankfully built on a solid core that needs a few tweaks. It's a successful expansion of Insomniac's Spider-Man universe, but it's a new paragraph, rather than a new chapter. Hopefully it will give us the latter next time around. And though it's also good for representation, it still has a ways to go. (Though the game wasn't anything special, Marvel's Avengers gave us a Muslim-American lead in Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel.) Hopefully we can get Spider-Gwen from Insomniac next, or a Spider-Verse game, though given the lack of setup, either seems unlikely. For now, Miles continues his upward trajectory. He walked in 2018, so he could fly in 2020.
GameSpot - Jordan Ramée - 7 / 10
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales sticks a bit too close to its predecessor in terms of mechanics, but manages to stand on its own through its story and characters.
Washington Post - Christopher Byrd - 70 / 100
I’d wager that Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be remembered as the year’s most ingratiating family-friendly video game. It is a feel-good, unabashed spectacle that controls well, looks great and has a hyper-efficient story line that never tries to overdeliver.
We Got This Covered - Shaan Joshi - 3.5 / 5 stars
While it does little to move the needle for the series as a whole, Spider-Man: Miles Morales both plays the part of a much-needed stopgap and serves as a technical showcase of what the PlayStation 5 can bring to the table.
Telegraph - Dan Silver - 3 / 5 stars
With greater console power comes greater responsibility (and much faster loading times)
ACG - Jeremy Penter - Buy
"Miles is fantastic as an expansion to the Spiderman Universe on Playstation"
Ars Technica - Kyle Orland - Unscored
Buy it if you want an "expansion pack" sequel with an interesting story and solid, familiar gameplay.
Console Creatures - Bobby Pashalidis - Recommended
Everything about this game oozes style, Nadji Jeter is the definitive version of Miles Morales thanks to his goofy and geeky take on the web-slinger. Soaring through the Highrise buildings of New York City has never looked better and the extra power of the PlayStation 5 makes things feel more alive than ever before
Eurogamer - Martin Robinson - Recommended
A standalone expansion for 2018's excellent original, with enhanced action and an irresistible new lead.

More of the same is not necessarily a bad thing, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a perfect example.

Miles Morales excels in its smallest moments, and I wish it had the confidence to stand by them to the end.
Polygon - Tauriq Moosa - Unscored
What makes Miles an important hero for the world of 2020 is not his successes, his abilities, his fighting moves, or even his moral compass to do good: It’s his belief in himself and others that we can rise above this. That’s also his mother’s central focus for her political campaign. Miles has a relentless, if sometimes naïve, belief in others’ goodness. He wants to help the city and neighborhood he loves. And watching him try, watching his small victories, and playing through it with such beautiful animations — with nods to Into the Spider-Verse — became one of my few joys in this dark-as-shit year.

Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 VERSUS other laptops

Compared to other options, this is quite a step up from the TUF A15, for example. You get a better build quality and a rigid form factor. You definitely won't get the power of a thick and heavy, 15-inch, 144Hz laptop (Nitro 5, Dell G5/G7, Helios 300, etc.) of around the same price, but you will get better battery and portability. You also need to have an external camera as there is none built in.

There are no paper cuts in store for you here. Paper Mario: The Origami King is as smooth as butter.
The Games Machine - Daniele Cucchiarelli - Italian - 9.1 / 10
The Origami King is one of the most entertaining chapters in the long-lasting Paper Mario franchise and will surprise you with some fresh gameplay solutions.
Atomix - Alberto Desfassiaux - Spanish - 90 / 100
this new Switch exclusive reminded me of many of the feelings that that 2004 title conveyed to me at the time, especially that of being on a great journey.
Gameblog - Yann Bernard - French - 4.5 / 5 stars
Paper Mario's heritage still floats over The Origami King, but didn't cause writer's block with this blank page, folded upside down thanks to the fantastic imagination applied to the staging and the story, decidedly audacious. Intelligent Systems' inventiveness also deploys through the ingenious architecture of this interconnected world and the tactical dimension unrolled by the battles, that become real puzzles. Such a well hammered increase of depth doesn't give headaches though, the main quest unwrapping along the realm's spread richness, so this moustached RPG asserts itself as the undisputed lord of its very own domain.
GamesRadar+ - Sam Loveridge - 4.5 / 5 stars
Paper Mario: The Origami King is fun, light-hearted and a celebration of Super Mario with a strong story, great humour and brilliant characters.
God is a Geek - Adam Cook - 9 / 10
A creative triumph, with new ideas that last the entire game, some of the best boss battles in ages, and praiseworthy presentation. Paper Mario: The Origami King is only let down by some of the general combat being a bit skippable.
Screen Rant - Cody Gravelle - 4.5 / 5 stars
An endlessly enjoyable story, a unique take on combat that fuses puzzle-solving with RPG traditions, and a beautiful world full of adventure makes Paper Mario: The Origami King yet another must-play Nintendo Switch experience.
Video Chums - Mary Billington - 9 / 10
Paper Mario: The Origami King is a hilarious game with a ton of variety in its world and a clever new puzzle-based battle system. There's so much fun to be had that if you don't already own a Switch, this will act as a fantastic reason to go out and get one.
Areajugones - David cruz - Spanish - 8.5 / 10
Paper Mario: The Origami King is the best installment of the saga since The Thousand-Year Door: it is not an RPG in use, nor does it seek to be.
GAMES.CH - Benjamin Braun - German - 85 / 100
Paper Mario: The Origami King may not quite reach the outstanding greatness of the first part on N64. But with its lovingly design, its pleasant cast and its exciting puzzle-kind fighting system Intelligent System brings the Paper Mario series back into line. Including the rich game world the new Paper Mario on Switch is definitely worth a buy.
GamesBeat - Jeff Grubb - 85 / 100
So don’t sit this one out. Pick it up, play through it, complain about it with me, but then stick around for all of its joys.
IGN Spain - Spanish - 8.5 / 10
New first-party from Nintendo, new great game for Switch. Despite the fact that being announced just two months ago, the new installment of Mario's RPG saga is brilliant, even if its combat puzzles mechanics end up getting too repetitive.
Spaziogames - Valentino Cinefra - Italian - 8.5 / 10
Tough Paper Mario: The Origami King is not an rpg anymore, this new work from Intelligent Systems is still an oustanding adventure with a lot of humor and awesome ideas.
Everyeye.it - Francesco Fossetti - Italian - 8.4 / 10
The Origami King does not reach the excellence of its impressive predecessor, The Thousand-Year Door, precisely because it decides to overshadow the PRG component.
Daily Star - Rebecca Stow - 4 / 5 stars
Paper Mario: The Origami King is a vibrant, detailed, and exciting adventure filled with bustling hubs and lots of hidden treasure. Sadly, whilst the battle system looks good on paper, it isn’t the enjoyable or in-depth RPG system long term fans were hoping for. The writing is consistently laugh-out-loud funny though, and that’s the most important thing in any Paper Mario game.
Destructoid - Chris Carter - 8 / 10
There's room in my heart for both styles of Paper Mario. The old games still exist and this newer, sometimes thinner formula is fine too. That said, it's possible Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have folded this subseries every which way they can at this point. I hope the next one is a little more fresh.
Digitally Downloaded - Matt Sainsbury - 4 / 5 stars
I feel that there will be a discussion about that ring-based combat system and some of the world design elements, but through it all, I do think that most people will simply love the deadpan, dry, droll and refreshing humour, and a general return to form for Paper Mario at what it does best.
GameSpot - Suriel Vazquez - 8 / 10
The Origami King keeps its RPG systems and character work light, but revamped combat and solid gags throughout are the course-correction Paper Mario needed.
Metro GameCentral - 8 / 10
One of the most relentlessly charming video games ever made and the best Paper Mario since The Thousand-Year Door.
Nintendo Enthusiast - Brett Medlock - 8 / 10
At the end of the day, Paper Mario: The Origami King surpassed my expectations. It isn't the RPG return to form many gamers were hoping for, but it is the best Paper Mario game since The Thousand-Year Door. The combat is unique, the writing is superb, and the world is brimming with charm.
Nintendo Life - Chris Scullion - 8 / 10
It still isn't the new Thousand-Year Door fans will have been hoping for, but it's still one of the funniest games in the series and it's got a truly likeable companion character, and while the combat is far from ideal the fact that we still thoroughly recommend the game regardless speaks volumes about every other aspect of it.
Press Start - Shannon Grixti - 8 / 10
Paper Mario: The Origami King is another exceptional Nintendo game. The story is laugh out loud hilarious, the world begs you to explore it and the art style is absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, the battles get in the way of its successes and ultimately let it down.
USgamer - Nadia Oxford - 4 / 5 stars
Paper Mario: The Origami King is an action-adventure game, not an RPG, which is sure to disappoint Paper Mario fans waiting for The Thousand Year Door's second coming. If you refuse to touch a Paper Mario game that's not an RPG, The Origami King will leave you dry and irritated, like the hands of a paper-folding master. But if you're OK with Paper Mario's turn to action, you'll find an enjoyable game packed with humor, secrets, and unique boss battles. The Paper Mario team is clearly learning how to make these distinct Mario games more appealing.
VG247 - Alex Donaldson - 4 / 5 stars
That simplicity is overridden by originality and vigor, then – but I also know all too well that some fans of the older Paper Mario games will once again walk away a little disappointed. This is still undoubtedly no Thousand Year Door. Perhaps the next outing can bring back a little of that RPG depth – but regardless of that, this is still the best Paper Mario game in years.
Game Informer - Ben Reeves - 7.8 / 10
As usual, Nintendo's quirky writing is full of laugh-out-loud moments, but your quest is full of tiresome backtracking
NintendoWorldReport - Xander Morningstar - 7.5 / 10
I liked playing Paper Mario: The Origami King. It has such high points with the music, the visuals, the comedy, and the willingness to try new ideas. I love how experimental the adventure is with the large variety of situational humor and mini-games. This world was such a treat to journey through, and it was nice to have more then one meaningful emotional moment again in a Paper Mario game.
Post Arcade (National Post) - Chad Sapieha - 7.5 / 10
It’s smart, creative, and rarely less than lovely to look at, but its combination of odd combat mechanics and sporadically subversive wit are bound to reinforce the franchise’s status as distinctively niche within the Marioverse.
Wccftech - Dave Aubrey - 7.5 / 10
Paper Mario: The Origami King is the best Paper Mario game I've played in over a decade, and yet I'm still feeling let down. While it's incredibly endearing and genuinely funny, it's also painfully boring and the thought of playing it again puts me straight to sleep. There will undoubtedly be massive fans of Paper Mario: The Origami King, but I can't say I'm one of them. A lovely action adventure game, but essential for no one.
WellPlayed - Dylan Blereau - 7.5 / 10
Paper Mario: The Origami King isn’t the game that fans have been clamouring for, but its excellent world building, charming dialogue and enjoyable battle system still provide a high quality experience
IGN - Cam Shea - 7 / 10
The Origami King suffers from one-note combat and few real choices, but its personality and visual design are a joy.
Stevivor - Ben Salter - 7 / 10
Paper Mario The Origami King is a delightfully charming game, with a vibrant open world to explore and endearing characters that are genuinely funny, so long as you can handle a healthy dose of dad jokes.
TheSixthAxis - Stefan L - 7 / 10
Paper Mario: The Origami King is a solid, but unremarkable sequel. It's like a table of snack food at a party, where you'll happily nibble away just because you're stood next to it or feeling a bit peckish, but it's not exactly going to fill you up. The new battle puzzles and the boss fights in particular stand out, but the world and endless Toads fail to spark the same delight. This feels like a missed opportunity.
PowerUp! - Leo Stevenson - 6.3 / 10
Ultimately, let down by a lacklustre combat system that is far too repetitive and frequent, Paper Mario: The Origami King is only... ok. It's still worth playing for the wonderful visuals and excellent storytelling but don't expect a true Mario RPG.
EGM - Michael Goroff - 6 / 10
Paper Mario: The Origami King once again takes the series in a completely different direction. Mushroom Kingdom is bigger and more alive than it's ever been, but it comes packaged with a combat system that quickly becomes stagnant.
PCMag - Will Greenwald - 3 / 5 stars
Paper Mario: The Origami King weighs down a fun adventure with an unsatisfying, puzzle-based combat system that misses the mark.
Eurogamer - Tom Phillips - No Recommendation / Blank
Nintendo sketches another warm and colourful Paper Mario adventure, though never traces its full potential.

Origami King might not be the successor to Thousand-Year Door for which fans have been clamoring, but this time the formula works, allowing the series’ great writing and worlds to shine through.

I want to share it with my nieces and nephews, as well as my grown friends. But I hesitate due to the frustration of the combat and those imposing boss battles — those moments where I wish I had someone else to take over on the controller.

A new paper-crafted Mario adventure unfolds on Nintendo Switch!
The kingdom has been ravaged by an origami menace! Join Mario and his new partner, Olivia, as they battle evil Folded Soldiers, repair the damaged landscape, and try to free Princess Peach’s castle from the clutches of King Olly in this comedy-filled adventure, only on the Nintendo Switch™ system.
Mario and Luigi receive an invitation from Princess Peach to attend an origami festival and excitedly hurry to Toad Town…but something’s amiss. After investigating the eerily empty town, the duo finds a fearsome (and folded) Princess Peach—she’s been turned into origami by King Olly, ruler of the Origami Kingdom! With five giant streamers under his control, King Olly binds Princess Peach’s Castle and transports it to a distant mountain as part of his plan to re-fold the world.
On his journey to liberate Peach’s Castle and repair the ravaged paper landscape, Mario meets Olivia, King Olly’s sister, and the two join forces to put a stop to Olly’s origami onslaught. Alienware Alpha R1 is 2020

Alienware Alpha R1 in 2020*

Mistyped the title...
This is going to be a simple guide to help any R1 owner upgrade and optimize their Alpha.

Upgradable Parts

(In order of importance)
Storage Unit:
HDD OUT
SSD IN
This is by far the easiest upgrade to make and the most effective.
https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?N=100011693%20600038463
Any of those will work, just needs to be 2.5 Inch SATA.
How to Replace Video

WIFI Card:
This is like a 5-15$ upgrade. Go find any Intel 7265ngw off eBay and replace it with your current WIFI card. If you don’t want to buy used then here.
How to Replace Video

RAM:
Ram prices have tanked because of bitcoin mining, so this has become quite a cheap upgrade as well. I’d recommend 16GB just because why not, but if your tight on cash 8GB is fine.
https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?N=100007609%20601190332%20601342186%20600000401&Order=BESTMATCH
How to Replace Video

CPU:
This required the most research. I’d recommend you look through this first. The wattage of the processor slot only ranges from 35w-50w according to a developer of the Alpha (Source). The socket type is LGA 1150.
If you’re going cheap, the i5-4590t (35w) and i5-4690s (65w) are both great options.
i5-4590t
i5-4690s
The i5-4690t (45w) is also great but is hard to find from a trustworthy source for a reasonable price.
If your willing to spend $100+ then easily the i7-4790t (45w). That is probably the best processor to put in the Alpha. All 45w will be used giving you 3.9 GHz Turbo. The T series apparently runs the best on the R1 according to This Reddit post.
How to Replace Video

GPU:
Coming Soon!

Maxed out Alpha R1 specs: i7-4790t, 1TB Samsung SSD, 16GB DDR3, Nvidia Geforce GTX 860m.
(Upgrading to anything better then that is pointless)

Kotaku - Chris Kohler - Unscored
Origami King might not be the successor to Thousand-Year Door for which fans have been clamoring, but this time the formula works, allowing the series’ great writing and worlds to shine through.
Polygon - Jeffrey Parkin - Unscored
I want to share it with my nieces and nephews, as well as my grown friends. But I hesitate due to the frustration of the combat and those imposing boss battles — those moments where I wish I had someone else to take over on the controller.

Ars Technica - Kyle Orland Unscored ~ Unscored If you have a Switch, get this game. If you don't have a Switch, get one, then get this game. Switch
VG247 - Alex Donaldson Unscored ~ Unscored Odyssey is the best Mario game in many, many years – and while it returns to the N64-style formula, its triumphs are firmly its own. Switch
Kotaku - Chris Kohler Unscored ~ Unscored Every element gelled so well that I was simply enraptured by the beauty of the whole experience. Switch
The Jimquisition - Jim Fucking Sterling, Son Unscored ~ Unscored This might be my favorite Mario game I've played, at least thus far. Certainly the best one I've played in years, and you can take that to the bank: The best Mario game I've played in many, many years. Switch
Washington Post - Christopher Byrd Unscored ~ Unscored This is one of the closest things to the fountain of youth that I expect to come across. Switch
GameXplain - GameXplain Mind-Blowing ~ Mind-Blowing Super Mario Odyssey is pretty much everything I had hoped a Super Mario 64 sequel would be--in addition to things I never thought it could be. The return to the more open-levels invites and rewards exploration in ways that no Mario game since Super Mario 64 has quite captured--and speaking of which, the capturing mechanic is brilliant, switching up the gameplay to a degree far beyond the power-ups of past games, and making for a consistently fresh experience where the mere act of getting around is fun in and of itself. Super Mario Odyssey is truly something special. Switch
Eurogamer - Oli Welsh Essential ~ Essential One of the most daring and influential game designs of all time makes a long overdue comeback in Mario's most madcap adventure yet. Switch
Expansive - Ray Willmott 100 ~ 10 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey is a practically perfect game that will be used to educate developers of the future in years to come. Unquestionably, it's the greatest 3D Mario Nintendo have ever made. Switch
GamesBeat - Mike Minotti 100 ~ 100 / 100 This is another Mario all-time classic that we'll be remembering and celebrating for decades to come. Switch
GameSpot - Peter Brown 100 ~ 10 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey is a massive and magnificent celebration of Nintendo's most iconic hero. Switch
NintendoWorldReport - Daan Koopman 100 ~ 10 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey is my favorite game on Switch by a long shot. Switch
Nintendo Enthusiast - Brett Medlock 100 ~ 10 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey is the best game available on Nintendo Switch, and just might be my favorite game of the year. It isn't just a masterclass of level and sound design, it's a celebration of the Super Mario franchise, and one of helluva celebration to take part in. Switch
Digitally Downloaded - Ginny W. 100 ~ 5 / 5 stars I'd usually count myself a completionist who's only goal is to earn every single achievement possible, but Super Mario Odyssey showed me that there's so much more to it than collecting things. Switch
Press Start - Shannon Grixti 100 ~ 10 / 10 I don't know how Nintendo continues to do it, but they've managed to reinvent another classic franchise and push it further than imaginable. Super Mario Odyssey is the game that we've been waiting to play for more than 20 years. It feels like it borrows key elements from almost every Mario game that has come before it to create what is possibly not only the greatest Mario game, but one of the best 3D platformers of all time. Switch
Guardian - Jordan Erica Webber 100 ~ 5 / 5 stars New sidekick Cappy could have been just another annoying sidekick, but its inclusion only adds to the playfulness of Nintendo Switch's first Mario adventure. Switch
FNintendo - André Reis - Portuguese 100 ~ 10 / 10 Nintendo has done it again. If previous Super Mario games were not short of accolades themselves, Super Mario Odyssey not only incarnates their magic but also stands tall next to the giants of gaming with its new, unique and simply unforgettable experience that takes Mario into a whole new dimension of gameplay. Every single element of Super Mario Odyssey exudes all the dedication and craftsmanship that went into its production and which make this masterpiece one of the greatest games of all time. Switch
Metro GameCentral - GameCentral 100 ~ 10 / 10 A joyful celebration – and evolution – of the Super Mario series, that encapsulates all the fun and creativity of video gaming at its very best. Switch
Critical Hit - Alessandro Barbosa 100 ~ 10 / 10 It’s impossible to pinpoint a fault in Super Mario Odyssey, which both elegantly and eloquently surprises and calls back to its storied history. It’s a game full of surprises; one that plays with your expectations and supersedes them in almost every way. If you have a Switch (or are yet to get one), it’s simply essential. Switch
COGconnected - Paul Sullivan 100 ~ 100 / 100 Super Mario Odyssey is a masterpiece. It surprised me regularly, delighted me constantly, and smashed my expectations in ways I’d never have predicted. The deftly woven combination of nostalgic themes, intuitive gameplay, and incredibly inventive design make this not only the best Mario game to date, but one of the most joyful and compelling games ever made. Switch
USgamer - Nadia Oxford 100 ~ 5 / 5 stars Super Mario Odyssey honors much of what makes other 3D Mario games great, plus it adds plenty of its own flavor to the Mario stew thanks to its capture mechanic. Mario Odyssey can keep you busy for hours and hours if you want it to, and you probably will. Outside of a few instances where the camera took on a mind of its own, I can't think of a moment when I wasn't enjoying myself while journeying with Mario and Cappy. Switch
Giant Bomb - Dan Ryckert 100 ~ 5 / 5 stars The soul of Super Mario 64 is alive and well in the plumber's surreal and stunning new adventure. Switch
Cubed3 - Adam Riley 100 ~ 10 / 10 The wait is over; the pinnacle of 3D adventures has arrived in the form of Super Mario Odyssey. It beggars belief just how much Nintendo has packed into this latest outing, without compromising the core Mario goodness of the past. Just as with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the Mario series has now reached a special new level of greatness that will be hard to surpass in the future. The Nintendo Switch is fast becoming the hottest platform, crammed full of sublime quality gaming experiences like this fantastic new escapade. Switch
Nintendo Life - Thomas Whitehead 100 ~ 10 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey represents a shift in direction for Mario. For about a decade we had exceptional but tightly structured 3D series entries, but this new arrival's building blocks go back to Super Mario 64. It's a very modern take on ‘sandbox Mario', however - Cappy and his abilities are key additions that freshen up the formula, and we have a sizeable and diverse set of lands to explore.Odyssey will, inevitably, now enter the discussions about the ‘best' Mario games. In the second half and post-credits - in particular - it takes on a life of its own, showcasing incredible design and development flair. It's also a wonderful showcase for the Switch, and could introduce a whole new audience to the wonders of Mario in three dimensions. For the veterans among us, meanwhile, it's yet another special release to remind us of why Mario is still gaming's number one. Switch
TrueGaming - عمر العمودي - Arabic 100 ~ 10 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey offers a fun gaming experience to the extreme with a unique technical showcase of the Nintendo Switch and a huge content, one of the best experiences this year by far. Switch
Game Revolution - Paul Tamburro 100 ~ 5 / 5 stars Nintendo has delivered everything I could want in a Mario game, before adding things that I didn't even know I wanted. The end result of their efforts is a true modern masterpiece. Switch
Areajugones - Juan Linares - Spanish 100 ~ 10 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey is without a doubt one of the best games of recent years and probably of the franchise. Great gameplay mechanics, an outstanding number of worlds and amazing graphics are the ingredients of this masterpiece. Switch
TheSixthAxis - Stefan L 100 ~ 10 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey is bursting at the seams with creativity, as Nintendo play with new ideas while also paying homage to their long history. Cappy's abilities are a perfect compliment to Mario's own, and there's a wonderful silliness and humour to their adventure as they visit a string of contrasting kingdoms that just beg you to find the secrets hidden around every corner. Simply put, Super Mario Odyssey is a masterpiece. Switch
IBTimes UK - Ben Skipper 100 ~ 5 / 5 stars Nintendo proves once again why it is the very best at what it does, with the Super Mario game players have waited 15 years for. Rooted in an wonderfully absurd design idea, Odyssey is a glorious and jubilant adventure for all that, like its plump hero, revels in the freedom to explore, experiment and play. Switch
GamesRadar+ - Sam Loveridge 100 ~ 5 / 5 stars Super Mario Odyssey successfully brings the series up to date and opens it up to a new audience, while still retaining every ounce of its nostalgia and retro charm. Switch
SA Gamer - Dawid Venter 100 ~ 10 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey winks at you for every Moon you discover. Its sheer brilliance in design and platforming perfection sets it leagues above the competition. If you own a Nintendo Switch you need this game. Switch
Gameblog - Thomas Pillon - French 100 ~ 10 / 10 By jumping aboard the Odyssey, Mario takes us on a trip where await nothing but discoveries and wonders all along. By gathering elements from every game of the franchise, Nintendo expand the classic gameplay with Cappy's possession. Diverse, intelligent, colorful and incredibly long and surprising, the free exploration will satisfy both curious and hardcore gamers. Super Mario Odyssey sanctifies a 30-year-old series that still amazes us episode after episode. Switch
IGN - Ryan McCaffrey 100 ~ 10 / 10 Mario's games have been around for almost as long as game consoles have been a thing, but thankfully, he's always evolving. We rarely get the same Mario twice. Super Mario Odyssey delivers on that ongoing promise of originality and innovation: It distills the venerable series' joyful, irreverent world and characters and best-in-class platforming action, and introduces a steady stream of new and unexpected mechanics. It's all spun together into a generational masterpiece. Switch
VideoGamer - Colm Ahern 100 ~ 10 / 10 It's extraordinary, really, that after all this time a new Mario game can feel as fresh as any that preceded it. Cappy is a revelation, exploring Kingdoms is bliss, and Super Mario Odyssey is a masterpiece. Switch
Game Rant - Riley Little 100 ~ 5 / 5 Super Mario Odyssey is a spectacular return to form that'll delight casual players and platforming fans, delivering one of the biggest and best games ever from Nintendo. Switch
God is a Geek - Adam Cook 100 ~ 10 / 10 Full of happiness, an antidote we all desperately need, flawlessly designed, addictive, and just incredible. This is platforming perfection. Switch
Nintendo Insider - Alex Seedhouse 100 ~ 10 / 10 Packed with energy, charm, and every trick in the book thrown in, choosing to hop aboard the Odyssey will undoubtedly result in you having the chance to experience one of the Mario’s greatest adventures. It’s a perfect reminder of the gaming magic that Nintendo is revered for, and something that they have miraculously been able to bottle twice within a single year. Switch
EGM - Emma Schaefer 100 ~ 10 / 10 A mix of the nostalgic, the fantastical, and the wonderfully bizarre, Mario's latest adventure provides more than a dozen tantalizing playgrounds to explore. With hundreds of collectibles, Kingdoms full of delightful details, and secrets waiting around every corner, Super Mario Odyssey is bound to keep players exploring long after the credits roll. Switch
Atomix - Aureliano Carvajal - Spanish 100 ~ 100 / 100 Super Mario Odyssey is the culmination of years of experience from Nitendo's developers. It seems like everything great from past game has found its place in this adventure. All the exploration and its marvels are backs combined with great platforming and surprises. Also, Super Mario Odyssey is of the games that really pushes the Switch's capabilities... and you can play on the go and get some Power Moons anywhere, anytime. Switch
TrustedReviews - Brett Phipps 100 ~ 5 / 5 stars You’ll become obsessed with collecting outfits and Power Moons, and fall in love with every kingdom you visit. Nintendo has had a wonderful 2017, and is rounding it off in style with the best Mario game you’ve ever played. Switch
PCMag - Will Greenwald 100 ~ 5 / 5 stars Super Mario Odyssey isn't just the best Nintendo Switch game yet, it's the best Mario game since Super Mario Galaxy. Switch
Hardcore Gamer - Kirstin Swalley 100 ~ 5 / 5 Mario has over thirty years of history behind him and yet Odyssey manages to mix those feelings of old titles with new ideas for a fresh take on a genre everyone is familiar with. Whether in it for a simple fun time or looking to play Odyssey to completion, there’s tons to be enjoyed by every player that will keep pulling them back for more. Mario’s trip across the world is one of pure, simple joy that simply shouldn’t be missed. Super Mario Odyssey is nothing short of a love story to the series as a whole and a title no Switch owner should be without. Switch
GamingBolt - Pramath 100 ~ 10 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey is a culmination of thirty years of Mario, and a celebration of video games. Switch
Continue-Magazin - Michael Poelzl - German 100 ~ 10 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey combines the spirits of Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine and adds new and fresh ideas to it. It not only is a perfect game but also the best Super Mario game you'll ever play! Switch
Player. One - Phillip Martinez 100 ~ 10 / 10 The Nintendo Switch title has slick controls, amazing visuals and a charm (there’s that word again) that I haven't come across before. The story is simple but supplemented with a large cast of new characters and worlds that expand the Mario Universe in a way that, hopefully, Nintendo can expand on for years to come. It’s accessible for younger players and challenging enough for veterans. Switch
DarkZero - Dominic Sheard 100 ~ 10 / 10 After Super Mario Galaxy, you had to wonder what Nintendo could do to match such a title, but by avoiding trying to replicate those two Wii games, Nintendo went back to what was unfinished with Super Mario Sunshine and used that as a base to build upon more ideas and mechanics. Switch
GameSkinny - Autumn Fish 100 ~ 10 / 10 stars It's been a long time since we've seen a good AAA 3D platformer hit the market, and Super Mario Odyssey blew us all out of the water with leaps and bounds of innovation. Switch
Pause Resume - Craig Shields 100 ~ 5 / 5 Super Mario Odyssey is a love letter to Mario’s past and offers a reward for exploration at every turn. It might be a long time until something this good comes around again. Switch
GameSpace - William Murphy 100 ~ 10 / 10 Nintendo is on a roll. Long live the King. Switch
Easy Allies - Michael Damiani 100 ~ 5 / 5 stars Super Mario Odyssey embraces its heritage at every turn, and the payoff isn’t merely a warm feeling of nostalgia at the fan service, but a reworking of the old with the new to produce something completely unique. Previous games have brief moments of wonder and charm, but they do not come close to the emotional gratification of Odyssey. Near-flawless controls, amazing worlds, a phenomenal new special ability, and a sense of freedom that’s not been seen in any previous game all add up to something special. This is another Mario game that will be remembered for ages to come. Written Switch
LevelUp - Juanem Reyes - Spanish 99 ~ 9.9 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey is a jewell that shines with perfect controls, fresh possibilities and gameplay variety. An experience filled with surprises and challenges to explore everywhere. All kinds of players will remember Oddyssey as one of the best entries in the series for generations to come. Switch
Hobby Consolas - David Martinez - Spanish 98 ~ 98 / 100 A true masterpiece, that brings perfect balance in difficulty, learning and exploration. Super Mario Odyssey pays homage to the whole saga, and the fun is neverending thanks to the beautiful crafting of levels, full of secrets and challenges. Switch
AusGamers - Kosta Andreadis 98 ~ 9.8 / 10 It rewards players in ways that we rarely get to see, and even when it's over it begins anew and invites you to keep exploring, keep discovering, and keep reaching for the moon. Switch
Game Informer - Andrew Reiner 98 ! 9.8 / 10 With hundreds of moons to collect and a dizzying number of secrets to unearth, Super Mario Odyssey is a monster of a game that rarely dips in the fun department. Switch
Wccftech - Dave Aubrey 97 ~ 9.7 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey is the best 3D Mario game. It just is. Level design, the way Mario moves and jumps, collectibles, it's all just… Practically perfect. This is the Mario game I've been wanting for so long, and I already know I'm going straight for 100% completion. Switch
IGN Spain - Juan García - Spanish 97 ~ 9.7 / 10 One of those games that you have to play without doubt. Fun, deep, full of secrets and beautiful. Nintendo has made it again, and now we all love Mario in every possible form. Switch
Nerd Much? - Bobby Bernstein 97 ~ 9.7 / 10 Whether it is or it isn’t GOTY, it’s undeniably a charming platformer that ultimately deletes all of the frustrations we’ve had with Nintendo over the past couple of years, and is one of the best games of 2017. Switch
VGN - Pietro Quattrone - Italian 96 ~ 9.6 / 10 Take the freedom of exploring every corner as you did in Mario 64 and Sunshine, add the skill and precision required by Super Mario Galaxy and the variety of 3D World, and you'll get the huge Super Mario Odyssey, the celebration of the videogame itself, not just of the firm's mascotte. Switch
Cheat Code Central - Lucas White 96 ~ 4.8 / 5 Super Mario Odyssey is here to remind us how uniquely compelling jumping and flipping around a colorful video game space is and lets us indulge as long as we can stand it. Switch
Spaziogames - Matteo Bussani - Italian 95 ~ 9.5 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey is a hymn to the video game Switch
PowerUp! - Leo Stevenson 95 ~ 9.5 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey is a once-in-a-generation game and every self-respecting gamer should sit back and enjoy it. Nintendo has outdone itself yet again and we're the lucky ones who get to reap the benefits. Switch
CGMagazine - Phil Brown 95 ~ 9.5 / 10 How Nintendo somehow keeps their lil' platforming plumbing mascot relevant and exciting decades later is a mystery, but there's no denying the company has delivered another Mario masterpiece for The Switch. Switch
Red Value Gaming - Red Value Gaming 95 ~ 95 / 100 Overall, Super Mario Odyssey is a fantastic game that is really hard to put down. What makes the game so engaging is the well-executed gameplay that also has an absolutely insane amount of variety. Switch
ThisGenGaming - ThisGenGaming 95 ~ 9.5 / 10 2017's Game Of The Year just got a new contender, Super Mario Odyssey IS exactly what I wanted and then some. The hype usually can not keep up with a video game but Super Mario Odyssey not only keeps up with the hype, it has passed it, and has gone way beyond my expectations. Sure there's some minor issues that I had with the game, but it never once made the game any worse for me. I couldn't put down Super Mario Odyssey and I'm kind of sad that I have to write this review right now because I want to get back to the world of Super Mario Odyssey that much! Look out other GOTY contenders, it looks like Mario has just entered the game. Switch
Polygon - Philip Kollar 95 ~ 9.5 / 10 For a character nearing 40 years old, it's amazing that Mario has remained not only a beloved character but one whose games are generally expected to be great. From that perspective, it's no surprise that Super Mario Odyssey is, yes, a great game. But more than that, it's a fantastic, even fundamental addition to Mario's legacy. From a plumber to a doctor to a tennis star to, uh, a Goomba, Mario has endured. No, this will not be the last Mario game, but it is almost certain to be lauded as one of his best. Switch
NZGamer - Keith Milburn 95 ~ 9.5 / 10 Pure delight, from start to finish. Switch
Zeltik - Zeltik 95 ~ 9.5 / 10 Odyssey is the best 3D Mario game in terms of the amount of content, world diversity, how fun it is, and to top it off, is absolutely stunning. Switch
Cerealkillerz - Gabriel Bogdan - German 95 ~ 9.5 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey is not only a return to the glorius days of the N64 era but more like a big leap forward from there. A modern masterpiece but manages to get the mix betwen tradition and new ideas just right with a lovely game design. Switch
GamePro - Tobias Veltin 95 ~ 95 / 100 Super Mario Odyssey is a masterful jump & run full of surprises, charm and ideas and a compulsory purchase for every switch owner. Switch
IGN Italy - Mattia Ravanelli - Italian 95 ~ 9.5 / 10 There are so many new things in Super Mario Odyssey, but in the end what actually strikes is its ability to be fun with the usual elegant, essential and inevitable Mario way. If you want to run, jump, discover, fly… and keep on doing these (and more) things for hours and hours, Super Mario Odyssey is the game for you. Switch
Destructoid - Chris Carter 95 ~ 9.5 / 10 Has there ever been a bad 3D Mario game? Many would reserve that honor for Super Mario Sunshine (my least favorite), but it's a far cry from a failure. No, before shipping any iteration of its flagship franchise, Nintendo ensures that a proper level of care goes into its plumber, and that streak of quality still remains unbroken with Super Mario Odyssey. Switch
Stevivor - Ben Salter 95 ~ 9.5 / 10 With Super Mario Odyssey Nintendo proves the 3D sandbox platformer is not only alive and well, but that it can continue to be evolved and surprise us, consume us and astonish us in clever and elegant ways. Switch
Hau5test - Florian Reich 95 ~ 9.5 / 10 Now there are two best games of all times on the Nintendo Switch Switch
Impulsegamer - Tony Smith 94 ~ 4.7 / 5 Welcome home Mario! It’s been awhile since a Mario game captured my heart and I think that Super Mario Odyssey is that game. Sure, there are elements of repetition but the gaming mechanics and controls are a thorough treat and if you’re looking for a reason to purchase a Nintendo Switch, besides such as Zelda, this could really be the time to make the… uhh… SWITCH! Switch
Daily Dot - AJ Moser 90 ~ 4.5 / 5 stars Odyssey is best experienced with its secrets preserved, and the less you know about going in, the better. Even if you think you know what to expect in this globe-trotting journey, you're going to find plenty you didn't expect, and something new to love. Switch
Post Arcade (National Post) - Chad Sapieha 90 ~ 9 / 10 It looks, sounds, and plays like a sunny Sunday morning spent in front a TV with a Nintendo controller in your hand when you were a kid Switch
Goomba Stomp - Harry Morris 90 ~ 9 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey is brilliantly bodacious, ingeniously incredible, and wonderfully wild from beginning to end. Switch
GameCrate - Angelo D'Argenio 90 ~ 9 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey does not disappoint. It’s a worthy successor in Mario’s 3D gaming line and a must-buy title for the Switch. Switch
The Game Fanatics - Colin Stevens 90 ~ 9 / 10 It’s what gaming, in its purest form, is capable of being: fun. Switch
GBAtemp - Krista Noren 80 ~ 8 / 10 Hitting many highs, and a few lows along the way, Super Mario Odyssey is one of those titles that will definitely get attention, both from those looking to buy a Switch, and those that currently own one. If you're a Mario fan, you're probably already sold on the idea, but even for those who are looking something that offers that "Nintendo experience" you can get nowhere else, this is surely a game you'll want to pick up. Switch
ProJared - ProJared 80 ~ 8 / 10 This is absolutely worthwhile for any Switch owner and you should definitely pick it up. You won't be as amazed as you think, but you'll certainly have a smile on your face the whole way through. Switch
M3 - Billy Ekblom - Swedish 80 ~ 8 / 10 Super Mario Odyssey is easily the most colorful game this year, and oozes with both fun and excellent game design. The collection of power moons has its dull moments, and after a while the game starts to feel a bit repetitive. Switch
