I have two examples of the devil working miracles of woe in my life.
The first was due to my preaching on reddit.
I had a message that said, "No matter how bad things get in life, praise God for he can send a healing, blessing or resurrection to get you out of the suffering at any time. This gives us great hope always. This makes our darkest hour not as dark because we know the light. Praise Jesus"
Well I preached this message three times on the Internet here on /Christianity. Every single time, mere moments after I hit post, I got terrible news of a tragedy. First my uncle was in a motorcycle accident. The next our 19 year old rose of the valley died in an auto accident. Finally my mom had to go in for negatively affecting her life altering surgery.
I talked to my pastor about this. He said that yes, we do have a foe who is out against us. The devil most definitely did those things. I said, "He can't stop me preaching though about Jesus Christ, no matter how much bad he sends my way." My pastor said, "Yes, that is what I was going to tell you. You can't let the devil sending bad things your way prevent you from letting the truth of Jesus Christ be known across the world.
I preached boldly the same message: "No matter how bad things get in life, praise God for he can send a healing, blessing or resurrection to get you out of the suffering at any time. This gives us great hope always. This makes our darkest hour not as dark because we know the light. Praise Jesus"
Guess what, the devil didn't send more hellish things my way anymore. He knows he didn't win this round for I'd rather suffer loss than not preach Jesus. Since the devil knows he lost this battle, he doesn't want to double down on failure for that just accelerates his certain end when Jesus returns and raises the dead and ends all of human suffering.
The other time the devil affected my life will take some explaining, and I'm not sure everyone will understand for you need to be educated on the ways of statistics. Not everyone is educated on statistics so play things like the lottery where if you play all 1000 combinations, you win 500$ but spend 1000$. This means every 1$ you spend, you immediately lose $.50. If you play your entire life, twice a day, you will lose on average 32,000$, and everyone loses. I have a book called No One Wins the Lottery. Still people play the lottery to this day for they are uneducated on how statistics works. A moderate knowledge of statistics is required for you to understand this.
So I'm a top tier poker player. I haven't met any player who has been able to out play me... ever. I played many many medium stakes tournaments of 100-300$ entries. I never risked any of my own money though for everything I made was won from free roll tournaments with no entry fee.
Its tough talking about poker for a few reasons. The #1 is that I don't want anyone getting into it saying, "Oh, Jim says it is okay!" It is just that you have to call the limits of what you'll do. If you'll do anything, like slots and porn, both of those are sin. If you do nothing, you won't play the stocks, leave your house or even play games with dice in them(ever wonder why they made Popomatic Trouble?). I just reason that if I am profitable, the sinful thing might not be to play and collect bonus money which I like to use to help people with. If you do not use poker right, you can use it as an avenue to gamble which has led to some people losing everything they have and then committing suicide. This is why I'm writing this, I don't want anyone to put it all on the line, because even if you can beat the odds, the devil cosmically makes key bets lose for his cause of destruction.
Okay, so earlier I said that I'm a top tier poker player. This means I constantly get the odds in my favor, right around 60%. Me playing cards is like flipping an unfair coin. Statistically there is no way of winning vs me in the long run if probabilities were all there was to it. But we know the devil can affect games if he wants.
My bankroll was about 10,000$ a year ago. All this money was gained from a free roll that I deposited nothing. I cashed out 300-500$ a month for the past 36 months because I was at the highest stakes of my current poker site and didn't need the buffer bankroll. Then I found a new poker site with bigger tournaments. Prizes of 100,000$ to $1,500,000 at buy ins that I am familiar with. I was like, "Well, I guess I can delay making some video games and waste some time playing poker. Since I always get it in good, the probabilities don't lie, I'm pretty much assured to be a multimillionaire."
Do you know how this story goes? Yes, indeed, I continued to play very very well, always getting it in good. But over a 12 month stretch I got relentlessly non stop bad beat. A bad beat is when you're statistically favored to win a hand, but yet lose. If I'm 80% to win a hand, it was like less than 50% to win. Even if I am 95% to win the hand, I still lost it like 50% of the time. This is over 1000+ hands. Despite probability stating it is nearly impossible for this to happen, like hitting the Powerball 5 days in a row straight, it still happened.
Eventually I went and prayed to God, "Yo, these numbers should never ever happen. I think the devil is affecting my card playing." I then lost immediately the next three hands to someone with a set of 666. The odds of one specific set coming up is 1/1000. For it to happen 3 times in a row is 1/1000 * 1000 * 1000 or ONE IN A BILLION. Just as my miracles on www.goodnewsjim.com have probabilities attached, it is a good way to figure cosmic influence in your life if things are happening often with next to no odds of happening.
So the devil stands in the way of my success at poker, and I told God that I am fine with this. I said to God, "If the enemy of my soul, my nemesis, attacks me and all he is doing is griefing me in an online game, I guess I can handle that. Praise God even when griefed." Also poker is one of those things that if you do, you aren't doing other things. Sure I could have made many millions if the devil was not attacking this avenue, but that would mean I'd make less video games, tech sites, code, or preach to you guys. Many people want to play poker so they don't have to work. I want to work so I can help society.
I gave those two examples of the devil cosmically affecting my life so you know that he does this today. There is no escape from the devil's trap except through the Blood of Jesus Christ. You frequently hear people who do evil rituals at a Halloween party actually see the supernatural forces of demons change stuff. This is because both the devil and God exist. Instead of channeling magic and demons, follow God, be holy, and miracles of good will abound. The choice is hate or love. Choose wisely Hate leads to harm and hell. Love leads to fellowship and Heaven through the Blood of the Lamb. Jesus Christ loves us and we'll have infinitely awesome experiences in Heaven, so if things are rough down here for a while, well we just bare our crosses and praise God. Amen! Amen! Amen!

• This will greatly reduce the likelihood of re-matching against the same players and will give matchmaking an opportunity to find the best possible match

Infamy

• Players can now earn Infamy points by completing Gambit Prime matches and bounties
• Increased the Infamy point rewards for Gambit matches by 25 points

Gambit HUD

• The HUD status bars now animate when returning from aim-down-sights
• The Invader Portal Ready icon and animation on the status bar has been updated to be more pronounced and understandable at a glance

Triumphs and Medals

• “Light vs. Light” can now be progressed by killing any Guardian (not just invaders) using a Super; this makes attaining Dredgen a less daunting task
• The "First to Block" medal can now trigger once per round, previously it could fire only once per match

General Fixes

• Fixed an issue where post-invasion kills during Primeval phase weren't giving the invader credit for healing the Primeval
• Fixed an issue where VO lines indicating the high-value target was killed and that the high-value target got away will both play if the player kills the HVT just before it is removed from the arena
• Fixed an issue where players would get the "Half Banked" medal every time they deposit Motes after they reached 38 Motes deposited
• Fixed an issue where the "Taking Turns" medal fires when 3 different players invade instead of 4
